Nathan Lentern is a satirist, stand up comedian and political blogger from Western Sydney. He first performed stand up in 2011 where he occasionally played the character role of Kevin Rudd. In 2012 he began writing his “Lentern” political blog. In 2013 he joined the awarding winning political analysis website “Aus Opinion”. In the same year he wrote and directed his first live show at the Sydney Fringe Festival, Australia Votes 2013. In 2014 he wrote and performed in the critical hit show “The Year of the Abbott.” In the same year he became a senior editor at the satirical news website The (un) Australian.
In 2015 Lentern co-wrote and performed in The Book of Kevin and The Roast of Tony Abbott. In August he reprised the role of Kevin Rudd on Network 7’s Weekend Sunrise.
In May 2016 he will be appearing in The (un) Australian: Live and Libellous at the Factory Theatre.
